Liz Farkas
Liz Farkas is a trial lawyer committed to obtaining the best result possible for her clients who brings fourteen years of trial and litigation experience to St. Louis Huffman. Liz is deeply offended when people are treated unfairly by the criminal justice system. She brings the same passion that motivated her work in the Pima County Attorney’s Office, where she rose to head the Vehicular Crimes Unit, to vigorously defend the criminally accused. Liz has a keen eye for legal issues and a deep knowledge of all aspects of the Arizona statutory scheme and the rules of criminal procedure, but the depth of her knowledge of the law as it pertains to DUI defense in Arizona is virtually unrivaled. Throughout her career, Liz has worked both in the courtroom and as a supervisor on virtually every type of criminal case. As a member of St. Louis Huffman, Liz represents individuals accused of DUIs, misdemeanors, and felony offenses at courts in Tucson, Pima County, and throughout Arizona.
Liz represents accused individuals throughout all stages of litigation, including pretrial evidentiary hearings and trials. Her experience includes both misdemeanor and felony criminal matters, and she has tried over 50 cases to juries. She has a particular familiarity with motion practice, seeking to have her clients’ cases dismissed prior to trial, and is passionate about advocating against unethical police tactics and procedures.
Since joining St. Louis Huffman Law, Liz has focused on pretrial litigation and trial work in DUIs, misdemeanors and felonies in courts throughout Arizona. When not defending individuals accused of crimes, Liz’s interests include spending time with friends, her family, her three dogs, and her rabbits.
