Amanda J. Bynum

Amanda J. Bynum is a 2009 graduate of the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona, where, in addition to her Juris Doctor, she received a Certificate in Criminal Law and Policy. She was active in the Student Bar Association and served as an American Bar Association representative for the University of Arizona and was the 15th Circuit Lt. Governor of Membership. She was the recipient of the State Bar of Arizona's Criminal Law Scholarship, and was selected by the College Deans as Outstanding Senior of the 2009 Class.

While attending law school, she was the head academic tutor coordinator for the Gonzalez Villa-Real "Bridge" program and practiced law under Rule 38(d) at the Pascua Yaqui and Pima County Public Defender's Offices. During law school she worked as a law clerk at the Pima County Attorney's Office, and both during and after law school she worked as a law clerk for various members of the Tucson defense bar.

She now practices as an attorney in the AV-Rated® firm, Nesci & St. Louis, P.L.L.C. where she defends people accused of a variety of crimes, but with a special emphasis on DUI defense.

In 2010 Ms. Bynum became a member of the National College for DUI Defense. She was elected in 2011 as Secretary of the Pima County Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Division, and the State Bar of Arizona's Young Lawyer's Division Pima County delegate. She also serves as the liason from the Young Lawyer's Division to the Criminal Justice section of the State Bar. She also maintains an American Bar Association and Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice membership. She has published articles in the Pima County Bar Association magazine about the use of technology in law practice.

She has been trained by NHTSA in Field Sobriety Testing. She has attended the National College for DUI Defense Summer Session and Mastering Scientific Evidence seminars.

In 2011 she was selected as a 2012 SuperLawyers Rising Star.

Ms. Bynum is married with one son. She enjoys spending time with her family, photography, and graphic design.
